I am Johan Peter Dijkstra. For over twenty-five years I have been reading data: as a senior support data analyst I looked for the story behind the numbers, the fault behind the symptom and the pattern nobody had noticed yet.
My sight is slowly deteriorating. Where sight decreases, vision grows: I am moving towards strategy, process auditing and AI, and towards work where listening and thinking matter more than staring at a screen.
Outside of that I am drawn to old things and open horizons — Frisian history and genealogy, sailing the Wadden Sea, cabrioot, photography, and design that stays quiet.
